Zhlehtet is a contemporary music collective led by pianist, composer, and producer Rok Zalokar.
The ensemble moves fluidly between improvisation, contemporary jazz composition, and experimental electronic music, creating a distinctive sound that blends acoustic performance with modern sonic exploration.
Rooted in spiritual jazz tradition while embracing modern electronic production, Zhlehtet creates immersive live performances shaped by collective listening and spontaneous composition.
Through concerts and studio work, Zhlehtet has developed a recognisable sonic identity within the fields of contemporary jazz and experimental music in Europe. Zhlehtet’s sound took shape from 2019 onwards, forged through a continuous interplay of live performance and studio work.
